This year Zenergy’s agile experts will be pairing on quite a few workshops at the upcoming STPCon Fall 2017 conference, one of leading conferences on software testing in the U.S. If you’re interested in learning more about agile, Zenergy has a full course load prepared for you. Join our experts at the following events throughout the conference:
- September 27 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: While many share the mindset that there is no need for test management and leadership in agile self-directed team contexts, Zenergy’s experts agree differently. Join Bob Galen and Shaun Bradshaw for a full day workshop on, Leading Agile Testers – Successfully Making the Shift, where you will explore what exceptional test team leadership looks like in agile. Further examine the aspects of self directed teams as well as agile tools, planning and iterative execution, metrics, and reporting so you can walk away with the knowledge you need to groom your teams toward success.
- September 27 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: It’s no secret that testing can be marginalized or even dismissed by developers. On the other hand, testers sometimes fail to acknowledge the importance of the role they play in agile testing. In this full-day workshop, Essential Patterns of Mature Agile Testers, you will gain more insight on the practices and desirable mentality needed for fully empowered agile testers on high-performance teams. Join Bob and Shaun as they reveal their real world experiences and strategies to help your teams reach higher performances.
- September 28 from 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm: Roundtable: Exploring the Keys of Agile Testing – In comparison to other styles of testing, testing in agile focuses more on the team working together as a cohesive unit. But, every style of testing comes with its own set of challenges. Join Bob and Shaun for a collaborative discussion on all the aspects of quality and testing within agile teams. Get on board with the latest agile techniques and explore the best ways to handle bugs both in and outside sprints.
- September 29 from 10:15 am – 11:15 am: In many organizations the Product Manager acts alone when making decisions on what will be worked on next. In this session, A Tester’s Guide to Collaborating with Product Owners, Bob explores a more collaborative approach to testing where Product Owners work directly with testers, from defining and refining test requirements to helping demonstrate completed features. Walk away with a new communication strategy that will help your Product Owner and team(s) deliver higher value products.
The conference will be held in Washington, D.C. at the Hyatt Regency Dulles Hotel from September 25-29.
