Collection and Utilization of Personal Data

Zenergy utilizes Leadfeeder website visitor tracking software for the intended purposes of helping our organization manage leads, increase ROI, and to better understand how our users interact with our website. Visitors are tracked in our lead generation system through the use of cookies and when one of the following actions is completed on our website:

  • Webform submissions and newsletter opt-ins
  • As you interact with our content (downloads, videos, and email, and campaigns)
  • When you click on links or downloads within direct emails, campaigns, and newsletters
  • When you participate in an online-chat on our website

After a visitor has completed one of the actions listed above, it will recognize/track returning visitors and provide us with data on the pages the user visited and the amount of time they have spent on our website. Any of the following attendee information presented on an attendee conference list, who resides in the EU, may be automatically excluded from our marketing and sales follow-up/outreach.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

Contact Forms

This site utilizes contact forms to collect information on those seeking out job opportunities, software solutions services and/or blog comments through form submissions. We may keep job application submissions in our database for up to 7 years to reach out to prospective employees if a job that suites their capabilities arises. However, we do not use this information submitted through our online forms for marketing purposes.

Zenergy is compliant with the California Online Privacy Protection Act and ensures that your information will not be shared with any outside parties without prior or direct consent.

 

Data Collection & Security

How to Access, Update, Alter, or Delete Personal Data:

Zenergy aims to be completely transparent when it comes to our website visitors. If at any time you wish to update, manage, or request us to provide the data we have stored on you, (pertaining to the data we store on you for either sales, marketing, and/or recruiting purposes) you may do so by contacting us directly and we will promptly supply a list of all the data we have stored on you.

Breach Procedure:

In the instance of any data breaches, we have an internal system that will notify us promptly and promise to notify all personnel in our database within 72 hours of being aware of the breach. This website has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

 

Privacy Settings for Data Collection & Analytics

The data collection and retention of our visitors is permitted solely by the active content the individual user has provided.

LeadFeeder, Google Analytics, and Mailchimp provide us with data based on how our visitors interact with our website. We use this data to fix bugs and improve the experience for all visitors. Payment Processing

Zenergy does not process payments directly through the website. Payments for in-person events (conferences, workshops, or other scheduled services we provide) will be processed directly through Eventbrite. Any data collected through Eventbrite (third-party payment processing application) is solely used to contact you about any updates pertaining your account or orders, responses to questions and/or other requests. All other payments for Zenergy’s services will be initiated by a written contract and signed agreement between Zenergy and the associated party before payment processing is completed.

Other Uses of Personal Data Collection Include:

  • Utilizing demographics and analytics for improvements in sales and marketing initiatives
  • Delivering services or completing payment transactions
  • To alert you of any technical issues, security breaches or invoice reminders

How Long we Retain your data: 

  • Any entries submitted through contact forms may be kept on record for no longer than 6 months.
  • Analytics records may be kept on record for up to 1 year.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely unless we are specifically asked to remove or delete the comment. This helps us recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

 

Recruiting Privacy Terms

For recruiting purposes, we collect personal data from potential candidates and add them to our recruiting database when an individual submits a resume through our website or through a career website. We will automatically add any potential candidates to our recruiting database for the current position they applied for as well as any future positions that may fit their interests or skills.

The recruiting and employee information that we collect is only used for government employee documentation, correspondence for open positions and applying for positions. When you create an account in our recruiting database and employee database you may be asked to provide the following:

  • Your name, street address, telephone number and email address and other contact details;
  • Your competences, skills, experience and education, e.g. your CV or resume, previous employment, educational details and qualifications, third-party references.
  • Your preferences, e.g. preferred state of employment, areas of interest as well as your preferred ways of contact
  • Your user identity, e.g. alternative names and other such information in connection with authenticating you.

This information is kept secure in our database and is available to be viewed only by appropriate personally.
