After a visitor has completed one of the actions listed above, it will recognize/track returning visitors and provide us with data on the pages the user visited and the amount of time they have spent on our website. This information provides us with a better understanding of our audience and any patterns that our potential clients present. At times we may also utilize cookies to collect and analyze anonymized data on our visitor’s browser/device use, industry/job title, pages hit on our website, and location (city, country).

Under the current GDPR regulations pertaining to the U.S. we may collect data on potential leads from in-person events (conference, workshops, MeetUps), based on their direct consent:

  • LeadCapture
  • Direct email follow up/referral pertaining to an in-person event
  • Business card submittal
  • Newsletter registrant signup sheets
  • Conference attendee lists supplied to exhibitors via conference organizer

Any of the following attendee information presented on an attendee conference list, who resides in the EU, may be automatically excluded from our marketing and sales follow-up/outreach.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (aka a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar services to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public and the context of your content.
