Chris Laney - President
Chris has over twenty years experience in the IT industry with sixteen specifically in QA & testing. A US Navy veteran and graduate of East Carolina University, Chris was executive vice president and co-owner of a successful 65-person software consulting firm that he sold and integrated into the $50 million acquiring company. In 2006, the Triad Business Journal recognized Chris as one of its 40 Leaders under 40. Chris often volunteers in the Greensboro community, having served as board president for two successful non-profits. He also speaks often to numerous civic and community organizations on topics such as networking for life and finding one's passion. In his free time, Chris writes for magazines, flies planes, teaches fitness classes, and enjoys life with his wife and three sons in Greensboro, North Carolina.
David Dang - VP of Automation Solutions
David Dang has over fifteen years in IT, with the last twelve focused on test automation and QA and test process improvement. He has extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing advanced test automation frameworks that provide higher ROI by significantly reducing maintenance while increasing reusability. David has worked with over one hundred companies to assist and drive their test automation and QA projects. While he is an HP Certified Instructor (CI) for QuickTest Professional, WinRunner, and QualityCenter, David has expertise in a wide variety of automation tools including open source. As an in-demand test automation presenter at all the major software QA and testing conferences, David has been a featured speaker at QAI's Quest Conference, StarEast, STP Con, and PSQT. David received his B.S. in Management Information Systems and B.A. in Psychology from the University of Buffalo, and now resides in Burlington, NC with his wife and daughter.
Shaun Bradshaw - VP of Consulting Solutions
Shaun Bradshaw has fifteen years in the IT industry with the last thirteen spent helping organizations improve their QA and testing processes. With emphasis on practicality, Shaun has created and implemented customized best practice methodologies for numerous companies in a wide variety of industry verticals. His specialties include effective testing and test management techniques, test metrics implementation, and agile/test team integration. A graduate of UNCG with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Shaun speaks at most of the major QA and testing industry conferences and is recognized for his presentations on test metrics, the S-Curve, and the Zero Bug Bounce. Active in the Greensboro community, he has been instrumental in fundraising for numerous North Carolina charities. Shaun lives in Greensboro with his wife, son, and daughter.
Bob Galen - Director of Agile Solutions
Bob Galen is an agile methodologist, practitioner, and coach with Zenergy Technologies. In this role he guides companies and teams in their pragmatic adoption and organizational shift toward Scrum and other agile methods and practices. Bob has held director, manager and contributor level positions in both software development and quality assurance organizations. He has over 25 years of experience working in a wide variety of domains and regularly speaks at international conferences and professional groups on topics related to software development, project management, software testing and team leadership. He is a Certified Scrum Master Practicing (CSP) since 2004, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and an active member of the Agile Alliance & Scrum Alliance. In 2009 he published the book Scrum Product Ownership – Balancing Value from the Inside Out. The book addresses the gap in guidance toward effective agile product management and can be ordered here.
