Bob’s half-day tutorial, Essential Patterns of Mature Agile Leaders, will address how to strengthen leadership practices and explore the practical standards for a successful adoption. - June 7 from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Join Bob Galen and Josh Anderson’s session on, Football and Agile: Like Peanut Butter and Jelly, for an exploration on the similarities, lessons and metaphors between agile and the American game of football. Learn various tactics you can put to use to help amplify and strengthen your agile team practices. This session will cover everything from making game time adjustments to the importance of practice and game films that enable continuous improvement.
- June 9 from 12:45 pm – 2:00 pm: More than often, leaders find it difficult to consult with their teams on issues such as individual employee and/or team performance improvements. Bob’s session, Leadership Coaching Dojo: A Chance to Practice What You Preach, will discuss helpful tools and frameworks for your coaching conversational use. Practice and refine various situational learning coaching skills, such as the Coaching Stance, Coaching Canvas, and Crucial Conversation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to utilize the Dojo format so that they are better prepared to conquer any and all conversations across a wide variety of agile transformation scenarios.
